HIGH FLYER DAFINA IS SET FOR SUCCESS WITH NEW SINGLE “DON’T LET ME GO” X RINOR
She is the German answer to Dua Lipa and Rita Ora. Her quick rise to success at a young age is something many artists can only dream about: Her powerful debut single “Shot Calling” not only immediately entered different European charts, but was also firmly rotating on MTV, VIVA and the McDonald’s in-store TV channel for many weeks.
There is a good reason why it has been a bit quiet around the promising newcomer with the soul voice during the past year and after the successful release of her second single “Bottles Up feat. Rinor”. Dafina has a lot on her plate for 2018. In fact, she is working on a number of singles, with the opener “Don’t Let Me Go” X Rinor (out on 27 April 2018) already in the starting blocks.
Her now third single is a modern R’n’B ballad picking up on the calmer side of the singer featuring totally convincing soulful vocals. “Don’t Let Me Go” X Rinor also successfully builds a bridge between R’n’B and electropop – not an easy undertaking – and thanks to a compelling build up, finally breaking into a bassy hook, the song turns out to be very harmonious and melodic. One of those songs that go from your ear directly to your heart.
